She was previously nicknamed “Jane Doe”, the name given by the American authorities to unidentified people. On Monday, Georgia state police announced that the parents of the teenager found beaten to death in February had recognized their daughter in the appeal for witnesses. The mother phoned the police, telling officers that the victim found partially nude on February 12 could be her daughter. With the father, she then officially confirmed that it was her, reports WXIA. The autopsy established that she had succumbed to blunt force trauma. So far, no suspects have been identified in this case.
