The previous evening in Ufa, there was a mass accident that claimed the lives of two people. At the crossroads near the Ikhlas mosque, the Toyota Land Cruiser suddenly flew at high speed into the oncoming lane at the prohibiting traffic light, where it crushed the VAZ-2109. From the impact, the “nine” was deployed, after which, tangentially, it hooked four more cars – Hyundai Elantra, VAZ-2115, Renault Kaptur and Audi A6. The SUV itself flew another hundred meters, after which it crashed into an oncoming Hyundai Santa Fe and finally stopped.

“TRIED TO FIGHT, OFFERED MONEY”

When eyewitnesses ran up to the mangled cars, they simply gasped: the smoking “nine” turned into just a heap of metal, in which four people were trapped. All emergency services arrived at the scene, with the help of a special tool, rescuers removed the body of a 38-year-old driver and his passenger, whose identity is now being established, from the crumpled cabin. Two more passengers with serious injuries and unconsciousness were taken to the hospital, but despite all the efforts of the doctors, one of them died at night in intensive care.

As it turned out, the culprit of the accident, the driver of an elite foreign car, was very drunk at the time of the accident. A video appeared on social networks of police officers handcuffing 38-year-old Eduard G., who, barely standing on his feet and barely turning his tongue, swears and threatens others. Moreover, the man had no right to drive at all, since he was deprived of his rights.

– The driver of Toyota has been deprived of the right to drive a vehicle since January 2020 for drunk driving. This time the examination showed the presence of alcohol in the exhaled air of 1,200 mg / l. Proceedings have begun, – the Republican State Traffic Inspectorate specified.

– A drunk driver in public offered money to the traffic cops so that he would be released, and he went home. Then he tried to fight them, he sent the film crew with all the words. And he shouted to eyewitnesses of the accident that he would find and kill everyone, whoever was there, – eyewitness Alik M. recalls the incident with horror.

SUV WITH A DARK PAST

Later, another strange and unexpected detail came to light. Several years ago, an elite SUV with the same license plate number had already caused one fatal accident. This is the case when, in December 2017, in the village of Zhilino, near Ufa, a Land Cruiser hit a 77-year-old pensioner who was crossing the road. The woman died from her injuries before the arrival of doctors. At that time, a 62-year-old Ufa man was driving, and now the residents of the republic are wondering whether he is a relative of 38-year-old Eduard G., who provoked a massive fatal accident the day before, or a foreign car has a new owner? A source in the State Traffic Inspectorate only confirmed that the car was the same and emphasized that different people were driving.

“SOON HAD TO BACK TO HOMELAND”

As KP-Ufa’s own source told, there were four citizens of Uzbekistan who came to Ufa for a part-time job. At the wheel was 39-year-old Farid I., who in less than a month expired his patent for his work, and the man had to return home. The identity of the two deceased passengers has not yet been established – they did not have any documents with them. Another 23-year-old passenger with severe head injuries is in the hospital.

– The hard workers went home. Probably a whole brigade and broke up. The kingdom of heaven to them, let the guilty be punished by all means, – eyewitnesses lament.
