The “Support Service” Fund was declared “undesirable” in Russia

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Justice of Russia declared “Support Service” media fund operating in Latvia, the American “Global Network of Investigative Journalists” project and the British “Real Russia” as “undesirable organizations”.

According to information obtained by SIA from “OVD-Info”, “Support service” was created by Russian media manager Ilya Krasilshik. The fund helps residents of Ukraine suffering from the occupation of Russia, supports charitable organizations and volunteers.

“Real Russia”, founded with the participation of economist Sergey Guryev and writer Boris Akunin, is also engaged in helping those affected by the war.

The organization’s press release also states that it “unites all Russian cultural figures who oppose criminal military aggression.”

For more than a decade, the Global Network of Investigative Journalists has brought together two hundred and fifty non-governmental organizations around the world to advance investigative journalism and independent medical projects.

It should be noted that recognition of an organization as “undesirable” in Russia actually means a ban on its activities, and everyone who cooperates with it or has working relationships with it is subject to administrative and criminal liability.
