However, after 32 games, Luckenwalde is in 17th place with 36 points and nine points ahead of Rostock so theoretically the Brandenburgers have perfected it to stay in the league. As a result of the draw, Hertha BSC’s second team will also be in the regional league next season. Rostock II would have to win to still have a theoretical chance of moving away from 17th place.
