The average value of used cars against the lot increased by ten thousand to the current 135 thousand crowns. This follows from the analysis of the Aures Holding group, which operates, for example, the AAA Auto used car dealership.
According to July data from the Association of Car Importers, during the first half of this year, imports into the Czech Republic amounted to 69,026 used cars, most of which arrived during the first quarter. Meziron is a decrease of 22.6 percent, or 20,133 vehicles.
Importers and, of course, not even sellers of this year did not grow. Borders were closed and vendors were forced to visit their premises five times a week due to quarantine measures. This, of course, was significantly affected by the secondary market, which thus lost sales day by day and was not even able to buy car parts, said AAA Auto operations director Petr Vanek.
During the first half of the year, 79,088 imported used cars appeared in the second-hand supply, with 15,845 mn in the middle. The lack of second-hand cars according to the group led to the number of medina prices, which rose to 135 thousand crowns. The average number of imported used cars was 11.1 years and the mileage was 167,600 kilometers. Against the lot, it fell by 3,300 kilometers.
Of the brands, with 18 percent, they had the largest share in the offer of used cars, just like last year’s Volkswagen cars. The species was a code with 17 percent and Aunt Ford with about 11 percent. Most cars were imported from Germany (65 percent), Austria (11.6 percent), Italy (10.6 percent) and France (3.5 percent).
The consulting company EY stated that the prices of new passenger cars on the Czech market fell by an average of 0.8 percent in the second quarter. Cars in basic equipment became cheaper by 3.2 percent, ie by 14,919 crowns, while the best-equipped cars increased by 0.7 percent, ie by 5,154 crowns.
