The Subaru Evoltis would take the key shapes and proportions of the concept model and share a foundation with Toyota’s future electric SUV. They would both use the same platform, named e-TNGA, developed primarily by Toyota, and would lead to two very similar models, following in the footsteps of the Subaru BRZ and Toyota GT86 with internal combustion.
Anyway, although both models are destined to be born together, given the importance that these cars will take in their respective ranges, the differences between one model and another are expected to be greater than that of its sports range brothers. Yes they should share a certain aesthetic similarity provided mainly by the proportions of the body, but both firms should go a step further when it comes to the design of, for example, light groups and bumpers.
