ACCEPTED, KOMPAS.TV The Taliban seized one of the luxury villas belonging to former Afghan Vice President Abdul Rashid Dostum in Kabul.

The luxury villa has been occupied by the Taliban since capturing Kabul on August 15.

The luxury of the villa owned by Dostum is an anomaly in itself if you look at the welfare of the people of Kabul.

The Taliban asserted that Dostum’s luxury villa was evidence of widespread corruption in the Afghan government.

Dostum was vice president of Afghanistan from September 2014 to February 2020.

He is also the leader of Amrullah Saleh.

In a photo taken during the seizure of the villa, there is a seemingly endless corridor with an apple green carpet.

In addition there are luxurious sofas and seven water tanks containing exotic fish.

A large chandelier is also visible in the spacious hall and swimming pool which is furnished with turquoise tiles.
