The story of Joshua Meier from Büron

Young Poets Club

The story will come true ?!

Joshua Meier from Büron writes about a famous volcano in the Young Poets’ Club. Do wild witches actually live there?

Joshua Meier, Büron.

The house looked dilapidated, the names on the doorbell signs were illegible. I pushed on the front door, it was unlocked. I looked around cautiously: nothing but the swamp that lay next to Vesuvius. It was actually a beautiful volcano, I thought, and it’s famous in Italy. I heard a faint rumble that didn’t bode well. But now to the house I said quickly to myself. Boom! Boom! My heart was pounding so fast as if it was about to jump out. Hopefully the legend isn’t true that this is where the witches live, I thought. I entered the house. It was dark and musty smell. My legs trembled with every step. But I, Karl, wanted to be brave. Shortly afterwards I stopped. So it’s true then, I thought, because I saw something that nobody would believe me …

It was noon and the sun beat down mercilessly on the village. The villagers were all in their homes, hoping that Karl would come back, but that was not the case. He did not come. “But he will come,” said Albert, Karl’s father, to Mari, his wife. Albert also began to feel that something might have happened to his son, but he still had hopes. “Lunch,” said Mari, interrupting his thoughts. “I’m not hungry,” replied Albert. “But that’s your favorite dish,” said Mari. “Should I eat something if my son is in danger?” “Would or is?” Asked his Mari. “How am I supposed to know?” Replied Albert in a very high voice, as if it were about to burst. “You’re almost dying of fear!” Cried Mari. “Nonsense!” Replied her husband. «Karl is my flesh and blood. He manages it, although I had doubts about our village wise man when he said that Karl was the only one who could avert the danger. ” “Oh yes, I’ve never heard such a foolish decision,” said Albert’s wife. «Our Karl, if he falls into the hands of witches, then… it’s a little absurd that Karl, my son, has to save his brother Peter. And that’s only because everyone, including you Albert, wanted to steal the gold of the witches! And now the witches have kidnapped Peter in revenge! ” “Ah, … here comes Karl!” Shouted Albert suddenly. “Your jokes!” Said his wife scornfully. “I do not believe you. There is no one to be seen outside. Are you sure that the sun hasn’t played a trick on you? ” “I don’t think so,” replied Albert. “I think you should see a doctor,” said Mari. “That’s right,” said Albert and went to the doctor with Mari, he knocked on the door and …

“Cut!” Shouted the director, “good job! The film is finished. ” “Cool,” replied Hubert. “I like my role as Albert,” said Hubert. “And mine too!” Cried Katerina. “Yes, you played your role as Mari well, Katerina!” Said Hubert. “Thank you!” Replied Katerina. “And you Joshua, you were great as Karl.” «Whatever you think!» Said the director approvingly. “Hello, are you Alex?” A postman asked the director. “Yes, I am,” said Alex in amazement. “I have a letter for you.” The postman handed the letter to the director. The letter was anonymous. Alex opened the envelope and read aloud: We have marks and demand a million ransom. Greetings from the witches. “Oh no, Mark, who plays Karl’s missing brother in the film, was actually kidnapped!” Said Alex. “Then I’ll go now and really save him!” Interrupted Joshua and ran outside. “Wow!” They all said in one voice, and Alex asked, “Will he find him?”
