January 6, 2022, one year after the US Congress was stormed by angry Trump supporters, published CNN a lengthy interview with one of the men who entered the building, Josh Pruitt.
Pruitt is a bartender, bodybuilder and former member of the group Proud Boys. He is also among those arrested after the storm.
He has admitted that he was there, and there are lots of pictures of him inside the congress building.
He is currently being released pending trial against him.
– Want to say yes
Canceled interview
In the CNN interview, he said something that now seems to have consequences.
– So you ask me if I would do it again? I want to say yes, Pruitt replied.
– I do not feel that I have done anything wrong, but when you now know the consequences that came afterwards, there is a part of me that would doubt, Pruitt said.
The fact that he says he would do it again, has meant that the prosecution will now imprison him again pending the trial, writes The Independent.

Do not believe in him
Authorities also point out that Pruitt has repeatedly broken his curfew, and broken the terms of a previous parole, by threatening his ex-girlfriend on social media.
One of the requirements for parole was that he wear an ankle brace. He was wearing this when he entered Congress, according to CNN.
Pruitt’s defense attorney claimed in a court hearing this week that the background for the curfew violations was because he could not find anyone he could ride home from work.
“I simply do not believe that he has repeatedly been out in the middle of the night for reasons beyond his control,” the judge said, according to The Independent.
Frontal attack: – A jerk!
The judge was therefore clear in his speech. Pruitt will return to custody from Tuesday 18 January, pending the trial against him.
Stands on its own
Pruitt still insists that he believes Biden cheated and that Trump actually won the election.
He still admits that he can not do anything about it.
– Biden did not win. Okay, that’s irrelevant. And they stole the election. But done is done. He is our president. It’s the way it is, it’s not going to change. But in the end, they stole the election, Pruitt told CNN on the occasion of the one-year anniversary of the storm.
There is still no evidence that Biden cheated in the presidential election.
