The Bremen health department reported 108 new corona infections in the state of Bremen on New Year’s Eve. 101 new cases were registered in the city of Bremen – seven in Bremerhaven. There are also two other corona deaths. At the same time, 118 more people across the country are considered recovered. This reduces the number of active infections by twelve to 1,420 in the state of Bremen.

The 7-day incidence increases in the city of Bremen from 82.3 on the previous day to 87.4. In Bremerhaven, the value for new infections with the coronavirus per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days is currently 63.7 – on Wednesday the value in Bremerhaven was 73.

The authority did not provide any current information on Thursday about the situation at the Bremen clinics.
