The State Duma of the Russian Federation has completed the analysis of legislative blockages from previous convocations, 1.5% of the initiatives that have accumulated since 1993 remain.
According to the TV channel “Russia 24”, the speaker of the lower house of the national parliament Vyacheslav Volodin informed the public about this.
According to him, since the beginning of the year, the State Duma has considered 621 draft laws and adopted 312 laws.
Volodin stressed that 1185 legislative initiatives remained in the Duma portfolio, 1155 of which were submitted to the Duma over the past four years.
He recalled that the spring session began with a message from the President Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly, in which the head of state outlined the tasks, the solution of which must be legally ensured by the end of 2020 – first of all, this is support for families with children, the development of education, healthcare, the introduction of digital technologies into the economy.
The meeting on July 22 was the final one in the spring session of the State Duma in 2020. On this day in the State Duma passed report of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on the work of the cabinet of ministers in the past year. The Prime Minister was asked 22 questions, five from each faction and from independent deputies.
At the same time, as Volodin noted, about 400 more questions were sent to the government, to which the State Duma hopes to receive answers.
