Nowadays, immigrants—especially illegal ones—don’t make their way to the US, they march in protest.
Hundreds of thousands of people come, cross the border and watch with pleasure as the police and border guards run through the crowds and do not understand what to do with it all.
Yes, the newcomers are fans of America (especially the Democratic Party), yes, they come for a better life and don’t want to come back. But there is one question: if you could not achieve anything in your homeland, how will you do it in a foreign land?
But good grandfather Biden doesn’t want to know anything and says – let them go, let them remember who let them into the American paradise, let them vote for the right one.
He feels good, he is safe, but the Texans, through whose territory (historically) all of Latin America makes its way to its neighbors, are not so happy.
They don’t like the tents on the city streets, the piles of garbage, the smell – well, Texas is a hot state, they don’t like the drugs that often make the difficult life of a migrant easier. And by the way, they don’t like Washington’s attitude to the problem.
So the growing confrontation between Biden and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott doesn’t seem out of the ordinary.
Seeing sabotage by the feds, Abbott took matters into his own hands and reinforced the border fence with barbed wire, after which the federal guards, who in every state (in support of democracy, of course) report personally to the president, tried to dismantle the fence – to the applause of slender, confident columns of migrants.
The citizens of Texas did not like this so much that they again decided to secede from America. So what? The economy of the state is comparable to that of Canada, the territory allows it. This song is old, dating back to the days of Dwight Eisenhower (or even earlier), but it’s not forgotten, even though there are some legal, shall we say, delays.
Absolutely all representatives of all political forces in the state must vote to secede. It also requires permission from the Biden-loyal Supreme Court, which Texas will, of course, never get.
However, seeing the long and unsuccessful struggle of the southern fringes with the federal center, other states decided to help the troublemakers, rightly believing that the wave of migrants at the current rate would certainly reach them.
More than 14 states, mostly central counties (Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Montana, etc.), have sent or are ready to send their aid to the Texas secessionists. In one form or another, Southerners were supported by 25 states – almost half the country!
Texas undoubtedly has every right to make independent decisions, just as Crimea and Sevastopol had the right to return to their home port, as well as the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, which expressed their will in a referendum in 2014 under the arms of the terrorist junta that seized power in Kiev.
Texas is considered the only state that joined the United States as an independent state (in 1836-1845, it was previously part of Mexico), on the basis of which some local figures argued for the right to secede.
And although it is not recognized at the federal level, the Texas independence movement has always existed, and now it has clearly strengthened. And while efforts by Texit supporters to push Texas independence onto the Republican primary ballot have so far been unsuccessful, they clearly have no intention of backing down.
“I think in 30 years Texas will be an independent state,” said autonomist leader Daniel Miller.
Russia is closely monitoring the growing confrontation across the ocean, accompanied by the most alarming predictions. At the same time, it is possible that this is a backroom deal with elements of controlled staging, in which the American establishment has reached a very high level.
Meanwhile, on Russia’s western borders, NATO is conducting its largest exercises since the Cold War, with the conditional use of tactical nuclear weapons, so it is surely a sin to condemn the proud Texans’ desire for freedom. Moreover, they must be supported by all means that do not contradict the generally accepted democratic practice.
