Current CEO Andreas Martinussen has decided to leave the company in favor of a job in another company, Solon Eiendom writes in a stock exchange announcement.
– I have enjoyed myself very much as CEO of Solon Eiendom, and I am grateful for the trust and support from the board, the shareholders and our fantastic employees, says Martinussen and continues:
– I am sure that the company has a bright future ahead of it, now with financial, operational and strategic support from the SBB and OBOS organizations.
Now the search for a new CEO of Solon begins. The stock exchange announcement states that Martinussen will leave the company before 31 July this year.
– Andreas Martinussen has done a good job of creating value for shareholders and has been central in the many important transactions that have been carried out in the company in the last couple of years, which in turn has placed Solon Eiendom in a unique position for further growth, says chairman Simen Thorsen.
North transition
At the same time as Solon announced the resignation, Nordr was able to announce that Martinussen will become CEO of the housing development company.
–
– We are very pleased to have Andreas Martinussen on the team. He is a committed and inspiring leader, has the right industry experience and matches the ambitions of Nordr’s owners, says chairman of the board Andreas Oulie in Nordr in a press release.
In 2020, Nordr, which at the time was called Veidekke Eiendom, was acquired by an investor group led by Fredriksen and Tollefsen. Listed Veidekke then announced that it had sold the real estate business in Norway and Sweden for NOK 8.75 billion to Tollefsen’s Fredensborg and Fredriksen’s Norwegian Property.
The company later changed its name from Veidekke Eiendom to Nordr.
It was in September that former Nordr boss Baard Schumann resigned as top manager. Disagreements between the board and Schumann were the reason he resigned.
SBB input
Martinussen started as CEO of Solon Eiendom in August 2020, after the then boss Stig Bech resigned voluntarily.
– There are no signs of dissatisfaction, on the contrary. I have led Solon Eiendom through an extensive industrialization phase, and the company is now moving towards a more production-oriented phase. In this transition, Andreas Martinussen is the right man to take over the responsibility, Bech said when the change of boss became known.

Martinussen has later been at the forefront of a number of major transactions and strategic investments. Among other things, the Swedish housing construction team SBB came on the owner’s side in Solon, and quickly became the largest owner. Thus, Solon also started a comprehensive investment in Sweden.
– SBB and Solon share a vision to strengthen the Solon platform in Norway and to develop Solon into one of the leading developers of housing in Stockholm, Martinussen said at the time.
