The fourth generation of “eresa” actually hid the last two big secrets – how much they cost and how they ride. She told us the first one today, because she appeared in the configurator.

Sports variant fourth generation Škoda Octavia was officially introduced a few weeks ago, shortly afterwards we could have it in the multifunctional hall of the Mladá Boleslav carmaker view live. But we still didn’t know how much this news would cost, which we can make up for now. “Ereso” appeared in the configurator and we know the Czech prices of all motorizations.

The basis is a unit 2.0 TSI with an output of 180 kW combined with a six-speed manual transmission, which costs at least CZK 889,900. A CZK 50,000 is paid extra for a seven-speed automatic transmission, and a surcharge of CZK 40,000 remains the same for the station wagon variant for all engines.
Version with turbodiesel 2.0 TDI with an output of 140 kW, it is ten thousand more expensive, so it basically costs CZK 899,900. However, the diesel unit is standardly combined with a seven-speed automatic transmission, here you would ask for the manual in vain. However, you can pay extra for the variant with all-wheel drive, which is more expensive by fifty-five thousand and costs CZK 954,900.

At the top of the menu is the first plug-in hybrid “ereso” with an engine 1.4 TSI iV, which is assisted by an electric motor and the total power of the system is 180 kW. This version is combined exclusively with a six-speed automatic transmission and costs CZK 939,900.
Recall that the internal combustion engine delivers 110 kW, the electric motor then another 85 kW. But we already know that these numbers cannot be easily added. The combined output of 180 kW and 400 newton meters of torque means that the plug-in hybrid “ereso” accelerates from standstill to a hundred in 7.3 seconds and can continue to 225 km / h. Thanks to the 13kWh battery, it will travel up to 60 kilometers on electricity (according to WLTP).
