Netflix had to give up recording one of its new series in Turkey due to the authorities veto on a gay character who was included in the plot of If onlya series that would have had as protagonist Özge Özpirinçci, star of Womanthe fiction that was so successful in Spain through its broadcast on Antena 3.

Faced with the problems encountered in that country, Netflix reformulated its plan and took the production to Spain to develop a series that finally bears the title. if I had known. Actress Megan Montaner stars in this series which will finally premiere on October 28th.
if I had known is a romantic series created by Turkish screenwriter Ece Yörenç, author of famous titles such as Fatmagul -the first Turkish soap opera that stormed Spain through Nova-or Sühan: Revenge and love. Produced by Boomerang for Netflix, Irma Correa was tasked with adapting this story about second chances, as she did with Sunrisethe adaptation of Fatmagul that Antena 3 has broadcast with so much success (and then Netflix after having included it in its catalog). The series was directed by Liliana Bocanegra (the queen of the flow) and its filming took place in natural locations in Seville, Madrid and Paris.
Megan Montaner (Hunting. Monteperdido) puts herself in the shoes of Emma, a woman who is disenchanted by her present and who, by a stroke of luck, can change her life and start over. Michele Fernandez (Sunrise) plays husband Nando and Michel Noher (Unit) puts himself in the shoes of Rubén, whom Emma will meet in her new life. The cast is completed by Jael Pascual (45 turns), Eduardo Lloveras (Privacy) and Bore Buika (Elite), among others.
