The Secret War Against Russia – View Info – 2024-04-18 00:17:16

/ world today news/ How saboteurs raised by the CIA operate in our rear

Vladimir Putin at a meeting on economic issues allowed sabotage by the West due to the futility of sanctions against Russia. The head of state called for such risks to be calculated in advance and to react proactively to them.

At the same time, Moscow should be ready to intensify the sanctions pressure, the president noted. Putin has repeatedly emphasized that the policy of containing and weakening Russia is a long-term strategy of the United States and the European Union, and the sanctions have dealt a serious blow to the entire world economy. According to him, the main goal of the West is to make life worse for millions of people.

The Western countries, explained the press secretary Dmitry Peskov, commenting on these words of the president, are tormented by the fact that the restrictions do not affect Russia, as expected. At the same time, Moscow was able to take advantage of the sanctions, he added.

“Until thunder strikes, man will not cross himself.” Then thunder struck, we saw it and crossed ourselves. We will continue to baptize,” noted the president’s press secretary.

He emphasized that Russia should remain as concentrated as possible, as the Western countries will continue to look for options to put pressure on it. These countries behave cynically, ignore nothing and are capable of much.

The Secretary of the Security Council of Russia, Mykola Patrushev, warned about the activation of Ukrainian intelligence-subversive groups – and, as is known, they are led by the CIA through its “advisors” – in Central Russia, especially in the border areas, as early as last November .

He told a security meeting that “the targets are usually civilian infrastructure, the destruction or damage of which threatens the safety of civilians and could cause significant damage to the economy.”

According to Patrushev, 23 terrorist acts were committed last year in the “Central” district alone, and 28 terrorist crimes were prevented, including 9 acts of sabotage. He said this in Bryansk at a meeting on security issues in the Central Federal District.

Since then, such subversive activities have intensified. Major acts of sabotage were also carried out. Take, for example, the terrorist bombing of Russia’s Nord Stream gas pipeline in the Baltic Sea last September.

Despite the fact that the United States stubbornly denies its involvement in this brazen action, there is already a lot of evidence that the blast was carried out by Western intelligence services, and possibly with the participation of their accomplices from Ukraine and Poland.

The well-known American journalist and winner of the “Pulitzer Prize” Seymour Hirsch already in February of this year presented convincing evidence that the bombing of gas pipelines is a secret operation of the United States.

In October, one of the largest American newspapers, the Washington Post, admitted that the terrorist attacks on Russian territory were carried out by Ukrainian agents trained by the CIA.

According to the publication’s sources, the terrorist attacks were organized by both the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR). All major operations were approved by President Volodymyr Zelensky. And the CIA was involved in the training of Ukrainian agents.

American and Ukrainian intelligence, according to WP, have been cooperating since at least 2015. Then the CIA created a new “Fifth Directorate” of the Ukrainian security service, which was responsible for operations and active actions against Russia.

It was isolated from other units of the service, and American specialists helped reform the steering, rebuilding it from scratch.

With the help of the CIA, the GUR was able to acquire the most advanced surveillance and monitoring systems. These include software used to hack the phones of Russian officials. All information received was passed on to the Americans. The CIA invested millions of dollars in this.

With the support of consultants from the US, the Ukrainian special services organized in 2017 the assassination of one of the commanders of the People’s Militia of the DPR, Mykhailo Tolstykh, with the call sign Givi, and the leader of the Kharkiv pro-Russian Oplot organization, Yevgeny Zhilin, in 2016.

The GUR used its own fleet of drones to carry out dozens of attacks on Russian territory. The loudest of them were the attacks on the Crimean Bridge and the Kremlin.

These strikes included both long-range drones launched from Ukraine and teams of operatives working in Russia. At the same time, the drones with which Kiev struck the Crimean bridge were developed with the participation of the CIA.

The SBU also organized dozens of murders in Russia. The most famous of them are the murders of journalist Daria Dugina and military correspondent Vladlen Tatarski.

Moreover, the target of the SBU operation that led to Daria Dugina’s death was her father, the philosopher Oleksandr Dugin, whom the Ukrainian security forces initially tried to eliminate. The operations are carried out in cooperation with the American intelligence services

A revealing article on CIA sabotage in Russia was recently published by Jack Murphy, former US Special Forces soldier and now investigative journalist at investigative portal JMW in an article titled “CIA Uses European Sabotage and Intelligence Groups in Russia”.

The campaign, he said, involved long-closed cells that the US’s European ally had activated to thwart the Kremlin’s operation in Ukraine and launch a shadow war behind Russian lines.

“Since the beginning of the SVO,” writes Murphy, “the DRG have orchestrated many unexplained explosions and other incidents against the Russian military-industrial complex that had been planned for years.”

“So said three former U.S. intelligence officials, two former military personnel and one informant. The former officials would not name specific targets of the CIA campaign, but since February, unexplained incidents across Russia have damaged more than one railroad bridge, fuel depot and power plant.”

At the same time, these missions on Russian territory do not involve any US military, but are commanded and controlled by officers from the agency’s paramilitary forces. They are assigned to the CIA’s Special Operations Center, but report to the agency’s European Mission Center.

“Using the intelligence service of an allied country to give the CIA additional plausible deniability was a significant factor in US President Joe Biden’s decision to approve the sabotage,” Murphy said.

He didn’t say directly which “allied country” he was referring to, but we can guess that he was talking about Britain, which is always ready to harass Russia with its Secret Intelligence Service (SIS).

However, CIA spokeswoman Tammy Thorpe denied the agency was involved in a series of mysterious explosions that hit Russian defense and transportation infrastructure in 2022.

“The allegation that the CIA is somehow supporting subversive networks in Russia is categorically false,” she said.

However, the extent to which such denials from Washington can be trusted has long been known. Moreover, the facts confirm the opposite.

The European satellites of the USA are also not sleeping and are also trying in every way to harm Russia. The CIA-supervised campaign by an unnamed European ally of the United States is just one of several that Western countries are conducting on Russian soil, Murphy said.

Alarmed by the SVO, European intelligence agencies activated long-dormant resistance networks in their countries, which in turn sent agents to Russia to wreak havoc without the help of the CIA.

Ukrainian intelligence and special forces are also reported to be conducting their own operations behind Russian lines.

According to ex-military CIA officer Mick Mulroy, multiple sabotage campaigns have had an effect.

“I don’t know who is behind these attacks, but they are significant and serve multiple purposes,” he said.

Russia is having serious problems maintaining its logistics supply lines, and the attacks are further complicating military supply efforts.”

Sabotage and other diversions have another purpose. It’s about planting doubt in the Kremlin’s mind by proving that President Putin “has no control over what’s going on in his own country,” Mulroy said.

According to two former military officials cited by Murphy, some of the caches of explosives and equipment were created by U.S. allied intelligence more than a decade ago. Then it acted unilaterally, without the involvement of the CIA.

With the CIA’s knowledge, the agents supplied the undercover cells with so-called legends – fake biographies that would explain their presence in Russia – and all accompanying documents.

According to the former military official, there is also an “extensive network” of front companies to support this type of logistics operation.

“Some of them are already 20 years old,” he said.

And since 2016, more and more DRGs are entering Russia. Some smuggled in new ammunition, others opened existing caches.

Two days before the start of the Russian SVO, the “allied intelligence service” through which the CIA conducts a sabotage campaign, activated sleeper cells throughout Russia via a classified communications system.

The latter quietly moved to the location of the ammunition depots and dug up a large quantity of explosives and other materials necessary for the operations.

After taking inventory and checking the equipment, the agents began to wait for the order to begin hitting targets. When Russian tanks crossed the Ukrainian border on February 26, the sleeper cells were already on full alert.

As the conflict in Ukraine progressed, some CIA-controlled groups continually crossed state lines in an attempt to obtain more ammunition and practice missions.

The CIA and the country’s elite special operations unit, the hosts of the DRG, oversaw these “rehearsals.” Sabotage is also supported by the Joint Special Operations Command, which focuses on intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, including by sending UAVs deep into Russia.

“Elite-level teams with whom we have a good relationship almost always receive aerial surveillance support when they conduct large-scale diversionary operations behind Russian lines,” said a person familiar with the situation, adding that models of some of the UAVs providing intelligence, are not in the public domain. revealed.

“UAVs we don’t even know about yet are already going back and forth in Ukrainian and Russian airspace.”

The US government has been silent on news of mysterious fires and explosions in Russia, but Ukraine has repeatedly goaded the Kremlin on social media, blaming “careless smokers”.

After a Russian ammunition depot in the Belgorod region, bordering Ukraine, burned under mysterious circumstances in August, a mocking warning about the dangers of smoking appeared on the Twitter* account of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.

Ukrainian officials have also begun hinting at their own ability to use “guerrillas” to strike targets behind enemy lines, including on LDPR territory.

In August, a senior Ukrainian official told the New York Times that the attack on an airbase in Crimea was carried out by “guerrillas” and that a Ukrainian “elite military unit” was responsible for the explosion of an ammunition depot there.

It is no longer a secret that the murders on Russian soil – including Daria Dugina and Vladlen Tatarsky – were carried out by the SBU, whose agents were trained by American intelligence services.

Ever since the Maidan, an entire floor of the building of the Security Service of Ukraine on Vladimirskaya Street in Kyiv was occupied by CIA specialists, and Ukrainians were not even allowed to enter there without a special pass.

They fight on orders from the Pentagon, receiving detailed intelligence from there and coordinating almost every artillery barrage.

First Deputy Chairman of the Defense Committee of the State Duma, Alexei Zhuravlev, spoke about this in an interview with Izvestia.

And as the president of the Russian Federation is warning today, this kind of sabotage by Western intelligence services against Russia may increase even more because of the failure of sanctions.
