The second Saturday of Advent also offered meaningful programs to the people of Dunakes – Dunakanyar Region

Every year, the employees of the city government and the Dunakeszi Program Office want to make the waiting for Advent even more intimate with a pleasant surprise for the young and old of the city.

This year’s novelty was the advent craft session, in the framework of which little girls and boys blessed with good dexterity and creativity, as well as the accompanying adults at the Kőrö school, could make Christmas tree decorations. The head of the Program Office, deputy mayor Dávid Sipos, and the local government representative of the district, József Seltenreich, also visited the program, and Helga Szeredi, the communications specialist of the mayor’s office, offered the creative “artists” a delicious cake decorated with the city’s coat of arms.

In the early afternoon hours, more and more people visited Casalgrande Square, dressed in festive decorations, where, to the delight of the little ones, Zoltán Vörös – as he called himself, the good-natured clown – won them unforgettable moments with his imaginative games and the little “fellow artists” called to the stage. to the children and their companions, who were amazed with wide-open eyes.

From the cottages lined up next to the wooden houses offering handmade gifts, the enticing aroma of gastronomic delicacies wafted into the square, where at 6:30 p.m. Krisz Rudi’s fans lined up side by side, and he did not disappoint his admirers this time either.

Today, the indoor ice rink was still full, fans of winter sports were constantly making rounds, and if they were tired, they could quench their thirst with hot tea as a refreshment, while the adults “solved the affairs of the world” in a friendly conversation while sipping delicious mulled wine.

We were able to spend nice and meaningful hours together in the spirit of waiting for Advent and tuning in to the holiday.
