The Scandalous Crime Scene: Uncovering a Right-Wing Extremist Network in Frankfurt

Von: Walter M. Straten

Today’s Frankfurt crime scene “Mercy. Too late.” has a real role model. A scandal five years ago. Police officers in the Rhine-Main area had set up a right-wing extremist network.

THE CASE: At night near Frankfurt. Patrolman Laby meets a dark guy on a country road, wants to get out of some nasty business – and disappears…

Shortly thereafter. Inspector Brix (Wolfram Koch) roams dirt roads in the dark with a suspect known to be a right-wing extremist. The trembling man wants to unpack where police officer Laby was buried.

Meanwhile, Inspector Janneke (Margarita Broich) finds weapons, ammunition and cans of tuna in Laby’s forest house. Aha! A group of right-wing police officers are planning a coup.

Mastermind: a colleague and ex-boyfriend of Brix who goes on a night hunt alone with his opponent (“There will be many executions”).

LOOK AT? If you’re tough Crime crime thrillers without daylight. Plus blood red Gaga finale. Unfortunately (almost) nothing, Inspector Brix!

My grade: 4–
