Fahmi Alamsyah, Expert Advisor to the National Police Chief in the field of Public Communication, submitted his resignation from his position. Fahmi resigned because his name was dragged in the death case Brigadier Joshua Hutabarat or Brigadier J.
Fahmi is suspected of being involved in the scenario created by Inspector General Ferdy Sambo regarding the murder of Brigadier J. The alleged involvement was initially asked by the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo during a press conference on the determination Inspector General Ferdy Sambo as a suspect, on Tuesday (9/8) yesterday.
“So the first question (about the alleged involvement of Fahmi Alamsyah) was that we were investigating, the team is working,” said National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo at the National Police Headquarters, South Jakarta, Tuesday (9/8).

General Sigit said his party would certainly convey the results of this finding if there is evidence. General Sigit said his party was also investigating the news.
“Of course, if we find it, we will definitely process it,” said Sigit.

Meanwhile, after his name was dragged around, Fahmi Alamsyah also decided to resign from his position as Expert Advisor to the National Police Chief for Public Communication. The resignation letter was submitted Tuesday (9/8) yesterday afternoon.
“Yes, I politely resign. The letter has been submitted today to the National Police Chief, this afternoon,” said Fahmi to detikcom, Tuesday (9/8).
Fahmi Alamsyah said he was aware of the sensitivity of this case. Fahmi regretted that his name was dragged into the media coverage, which he considered as if he was positioning himself to compose a scenario as if there was a shootout.
“Because this is a sensitive issue,” he said.
