The Russian ambassador in Warsaw was flooded with red paint

Russian Ambassador to Poland Sergei Andreev

Russia’s ambassador to Poland, Sergei Andreev, was greeted with a flood of red paint on May 9th.

He was attacked during a flower-laying ceremony at a World War II-era Soviet military cemetery in Warsaw, TASS reported.

Local media added that the diplomat was covered in red paint.

A protest against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has begun in front of the cemetery. Demonstrators tried to physically attack the ambassador, local media reported. Several people tried to reach him, but were repulsed by his guards.

The next moment, his face was covered in red paint.
