The group’s latest statement said that it’s necessary to take further steps to prevent Trump from using the Rolling Stones songs during his campaign, as his previous written warning of copyright infringement was ignored.

The BMI copyright company, on behalf of the rock group, has warned Trump’s campaign headquarters that using their compositions without permission means violating the license agreement and will entail legal action.

This April, the Rolling Stones and her lead singer, 76-year-old Mick Jagerr, for the first time in eight years released a new singleabout life in quarantine in Britain – Living In A Ghost Town.

In June, the family of rock musician Tom Petty issued a similar written warning to Trump’s campaign headquarters demanding an end to the continuation of unlawful actions after the song I Won’t Back Down was heard at a rally in Tulsa.

In a statement posted on Twitter, relatives of a musician who died three years ago stated that Petty “never wanted his song to be used as part of a hate campaign.”

The campaign of 74-year-old Trump will be in full swing in the coming months until the general election in November, when the current president’s rival will be a Democratic candidate, 77-year-old Joe Biden.
