Kebayoran Lama Police Chief Kompol Widya Agustiono said the incident happened at Jalan Ciputat Raya, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta on Sunday (11/13) at around 00.35 WIB.
“He drives your own motorcycle. So maybe other bikers too. I asked if there were any problems before, he didn’t say anything,” Agustiono said when contacted by reporters on Monday (14/11/2022).
Agustiono said the victim and the perpetrator did not know each other. Both of them involved in a dispute on the way to the overpass.
“I don’t know, so other drivers don’t know. On the road what could it be, maybe I overtake, then I overtake each other or not. I asked was there a problem before or not? There was not a word,” He continuous.

Arriving at the scene, the driver yelled at AL as “thief”. The residents then fought back and gave chase join AL.
“Suddenly he in front kept stopping with me ‘thief’, in the end other residents because there are those with me ‘thieves’, it was assured that they too were beaten, then they were taken to Polsek,” explained Agustiono.
The screams of the thieves provoked the residents. As a result of this incident, the victim was injured.
