The road to this cultural site in Pangandaran has not been touched by development

Pangandaran News (Harapanrakyat.com),- The road to the cultural site of KH Abdul Hamid, Bojongkondang Village, Langkaplancar District, Pangandaran Regency has not been touched by the government’s development program. So the car can not cross the road.

Abdul Somad, a resident of Bojongkondang Village, said that the community really needs this road access. But so far there has been no response from the local government.

“The visitors who will go to the site area are forced to park their vehicles on the side of the road. They have to walk about 2 kilometers,” he said.

Somad said motorbikes could still reach the KH Abdul Hamid cultural site in Pangandaran. However, because the road is dirt, during the rainy season the conditions will be muddy. So the motorcycle was difficult to pass.

“The road to the site is still red soil and has not been paved. If it’s the rainy season, any vehicle is difficult to pass,” he said.

Residents really hope that the government pays attention to the condition of this historic site and builds access roads. He also asked the Pemdes Bojongkondang to also try to build access to the cultural site.

“So far, the village government seems to be ignorant of this site. Though this site is very historic for Muslims and this nation. This place has also become a gathering place for Hizbuloh soldiers who played a role in liberating Indonesia,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, Bokongkondang Village Secretary Eman Sulaeman said that until now the village had not been able to budget for the construction of the road. Considering the location of the site is in the Perum Perhutani area. Meanwhile, Perum Perhutani has not yet issued a permit.

“Until now we have not received permission to open and build a road to the KH Abdul Hamid cultural site area,” he said.

However, when the related parties allowed to build a road to this cultural site in Pangandaran, the village immediately coordinated. Especially with community leaders to discuss the road construction.

“We actually want the area to become a religious tourism. Hopefully it can be realized,” he concluded. (Enceng/R9/HR-Online/Editor-Dadang)
