The risk of a military clash between Russia and the United States exists. This was stated by the First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Dmitry Polyansky.
“We have repeatedly and persistently warned that the situation is quite dangerous and there is an increased risk of a direct clash between Russia and NATO,” Polyansky said during a conversation with users of the social network. TASS.
He added that NATO is heavily involved in the conflict in Ukraine. Polyansky noted that the West can supply Ukraine not only with weapons, but also send the military. In addition, participation of the West in “certain actions in Ukraine” cannot be ruled out, Polyansky added.
Earlier, the leader of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine is counting on the implementation of the “Israeli model” – on stable military-technical support of the allies without the prospect of their intervention in the event of a conflict.
