In America, the election took place on Saturday. The game in five constituencies took place mainly between the incumbent Polish president and the president of Warsaw. Duda won in the largest clusters of the Polish diaspora in the districts subject to the consulates general in New York and Chicago. Trzaskowski turned out to be the winner in Los Angeles, Washington and Houston.

In the first round, the largest number of Polish community voters, 10,634, was noted by the New York consulate. Duda received 5076 (47 percent) votes there, ahead of Trzaskowski 4017 (37.8 percent).

As Consul General Adrian Kubicki said, the turnout (expressed by the ratio of returnable envelopes received to sent to the electorate) amounted to 84 percent.

Duda was also a winner in the Chicago constituency. 6731 people voted for him, and 2101 for his biggest competitor. In the remaining consular districts comprising the smaller Polonia, the first round of elections was won by Trzaskowski.

Ukraine: Duda’s clear advantage

332 people (51.71%) voted for Andrzej Duda. Rafał Trzaskowski came in second with 191 votes (29.75 percent).

Next came Szymon Hołownia, with 48 voters, and Krzysztof Bosak with 44 votes. 15 voters in Ukraine voted for Robert Biedroń, and eight for Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. One vote was received by Paweł Tanajno, Stanisław Żółtek, Mirosław Piotrowski and Marek Jakubiak. Nobody voted for Waldemar Witkowski.

Elections were conducted in the created voting circuits in each of the consular districts – Łuck, Lviv, Vinnytsia, Odessa, Kharkiv and Kiev. They were taking place in premises adapted to the principles of sanitary safety and in correspondence mode.

Andrzej Duda won in all voting circuits except for Kiev. In the Lviv region won 127 votes, and Trzaskowski – 49. Bosak with 17 votes took the third place.

In the Kiev region Trzaskowski won, winning 97 votes, and Duda came second with 55 votes. Hołownia came in third with 25 votes.

In the Vinnytsia region Duda won 77 votes, second place went to Bosak with five votes. In the Kharkiv region, Duda won 21 votes and Trzaskowski 15. In the Lutsk region 31 voters voted for Duda, and 13 for Trzaskowski, in Odessa region 21 people voted for Duda and 14 for Trzaskowski.

Duda in Prague is only the fourth

The third place was taken by Szymon Hołownia with 1115 votes (12.54 percent), and the fourth – Robert Biedroń, who obtained 431 votes (4.85 percent). Krzysztof Bosak came in fifth with 394 votes (4.43 percent).

The next places were taken by: Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz (89 votes, i.e. 1%), Waldemar Witkowski (26 votes, i.e. 0.29%), Marek Jakubiak (12 votes, 0.13%), Paweł Tanajno (11 votes) , 0.12 percent) or Mirosław Piotrowski (8 votes, 0.09 percent), Stanisław Żółtek (6 votes, 0.07 percent).

The four voting circuits created in France were cast on Sunday in total 8894 valid votes. 11,661 people registered to vote. Three circuits operated in Paris and one in Lyon. The lower than usual number of constituencies in the current election resulted from sanitary restrictions related to the coronavirus epidemic. Voting took place by correspondence.

Belarus divided

In Minsk, according to the committee’s report, 71 voters voted for Trzaskowski and 48 for Duda. 48 votes each were given to Szymon Hołownia and Krzysztof Bosak; two votes were obtained by Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, and one by Waldemar Witkowski. In total 143 people voted there.

Trzaskowski won the largest number of votes in Japan, China, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines and Taiwan – according to PKW data.

In Vietnam 117 people voted, of which 58.97% supported Trzaskowski, 18.80 percent Hołownia, 9.40% Biedronia, 5.13 percent Duda and 4.27 percent – Barefoot.

In Indonesia out of 82 votes cast 62.20 percent it was on Trzaskowski, 14.63 percent to Hołownia, 10.98 percent for Duda, 9.76 percent barefoot. The fifth place was taken there ex aequo Biedroń and Stanisław Żółtek, who received 1.22% each, i.e. one vote.
