The results of the Medicine tests in Bergamo «Our school is an excellence» – EcoDiBergamo.it

Those eligible, or those who scored the minimum 20 points necessary to compete in the national ranking and the distribution of available places, were 68, 68.3% of the total (39,848 young people) with an average score of 35.27. The highest average score at the university level is 39.44 recorded in Bergamo, as well as the highest percentage of suitable candidates (80.56%).

“In light of these results, achieved by our girls and our boys, we get further confirmation that the Bergamo school is excellent and that, moreover, during the lockdown and the months when schools are closed, distance learning has allowed us to keep the thread of relationships firmly and guarantee continuity to the valuable educational and training role of the school – declares Patrizia Graziani, Director of the Bergamo territorial school office -. This encourages us to continue on the path of innovation and the objective comparison of scores shows once again, as often happens in various prestigious national and international competitions, that our students rank among the best. An applause goes to them as well as to the entire school system, thanks to the professionalism and dedication of many teachers who are able to motivate students to study and make students passionate about their subject. A talent that they have shown even in this exceptional and terrible period of the pandemic ».

«This result – underlines the Rector of the University of Bergamo Remo Morzenti Pellegrini – is even more extraordinary this year, the first year in which the candidates had to take the test in the University closest to their residence. It was a surprise for us, on the one hand, and a further confirmation, on the other, of the quality of the Bergamo school that repays our efforts for how we had to organize ourselves in a short time to find a safe and accessible solution for all, such as the Lazaret. A truly significant number of students came here from whom I collected various testimonies, even touching ones, on the choice of medicine, understandable after what our province has been through. The highest score was achieved in Padua 88.50. The first 100 classified are concentrated in 37 universities. The universities with the highest number of candidates among the top 100 are: Bologna (15), Insubria (9), Naples Federico II (6), Turin (6) and Catania (6), Bergamo (5) and Milan (5) .
