On Sunday 18 September, during the first half of the Ligue 1 match against Monaco, Reims had not yet conceded the three goals but had already lost their team Bradley Locko to a red card in the 22nd minute (as canceled by the commission of discipline), which provoked the anger of the stands in Reims in general, and that of a fan in particular. He kicked a seat, which he then ripped off and threw at a steward who asked him to calm down.
Arrested at the end of the match, the enthusiastic resident of Hautvillers was born in 1998, the legendary year of French football. He was an alcoholic, an aggravating circumstance. Placed in police custody for damage to the seat, as well as for entry and violence inside the stadium in a state of drunkenness, the young man was presented on Tuesday 20 September in front of the delegate of the prosecutor who sent a reminder to the law.
At the next mockery of the same kind, the fan will be exposed to the penalties provided for by the Sport Code: a 7,500 euro fine when “enters a sports hall while intoxicated during a sporting event”
; one year of imprisonment and a fine of 15,000 euros if the perpetrator of this crime also commits violence. The stadium ban can also be imposed for up to five years.
