The disease was discovered after he was approached by the Regional Hygiene Station in Brno on Saturday, stating that he was probably in contact with an infected person on Thursday. The rector does not suffer from any symptoms, said school spokeswoman Tereza Fojtová.

“Masaryk University is currently cooperating with the regional hygiene station to find all people at the university and beyond who have been in contact with the rector in the past three days,” the spokeswoman added.
