This article explores the forms and issues of the social modalities of construction, transmission and recognition of professional experience. The study, which takes place in two parts, first identifies a certain number of typical configurations of the social treatment of experience, then it approaches the current evolutions of professional experience through the efforts of rationalization in professional training. , through the game of actors around the formalization of experiential knowledge, so that the new managements are led to include the valuation of experience in the organization of work and the management of human resources.

Abstract

This article explores both the forms and issues of social modalities regarding the construction, the transmission, and the recognition of professional experience. This study is composed of two parts : firstly the author delineates a number of typical configurations which describe the social treatment of experience. The author then describes the current evolution of professional experience through strategies which examine professional training and through the actions of various players who formalize knowledge of experience. The aim is to lead new management to recognize the value of experience as part of work organization and of human resources management.

This article examines the forms and social implications of building, transmitting and recognizing professional experience. The study, which consists of two parts, first considers a number of typical social behaviors in dealing with experience, then the current development of professional experience is analyzed in terms of attempts at rationalization in vocational training and in terms of the behaviors of those involved in the formalization of knowledge , discussed. It follows that future management must pay more attention to the valorization of experience in the division of labor and human resource management.
