It is an extraordinary date for a season opener. In the 3rd division, the PSV Recklinghausen handball players play their first home game on a Friday evening.
One more month, then it will be serious for the third division handball players of PSV Recklinghausen in terms of championship. Now the game plan is ready, which immediately has an exciting opponent and an extraordinary date ready for the team of coach Daniel Schnellhardt.
The second representation of Borussia Dortmund will be guest on Friday, September 3rd, in the sports hall north on Halterner Straße (throw at 8 p.m.). And on the second matchday, the PSV women are again challenged on a Friday – on September 10th, also at 8 p.m., they go to Ibbenbürener Spvg. 08.
A home game on a Friday evening also sees PSV spokesman as “an experiment that we just want to test”. Both coach and team have also spoken out in favor.
Twelve teams will go to the “3rd division company” in Season C at the beginning of September. In addition to PSV, BVB II and Ibbenbüren, the following teams are also involved: SV Germania Fritzlar 1976, Hannoverscher SC von 1893, VfL Wolfsburg, SG 09 Kirchhof, HSG Blomberg-Lippe II, TV Hannover-Badenstedt-Vinnhorst, Lit Tribe Germania (Minden ), Königsborner SV and ASC Dortmund.
SG 09 Kirchhof was relegated from the second division, VfL Wolfsburg is an ambitious newcomer. PSV coach Schnellhardt has already stated “It will be a crisp season.”
