The provincial government of the DKI wants to buy 300 billion rupees of land in Kemang, the observer wants it

Jakarta

A fund of Rp 200-300 billion has been budgeted by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Parks and Forests Service for the purchase of 2.4 hectares of land on Jalan Kemang Timur V. The land belonging to the real estate developer Viniland International is said to have been purchased to manage flood.

Buying the land for the former golf course raised the pros and cons of the parties, especially local residents. The price measurement and evaluation process has received sufficient public attention.

Trubus Rahadiansyah, public policy observer at Trisakti University, said that this program must be carried out with studies, ensuring aspects of transparency, principles of distribution and public participation to supervise such large funds.

“What the provincial government does must meet the transparency aspect and whether this budget issue has been determined. Don’t let the potential for corruption and mismanagement arise in the purchase of this land,” Trubus said in his statement. , Sunday (6/11/2022).

This program must be concretely implemented for the purchase of land and there must also be coordination between related institutions or agencies, so that there will be no legal action by the community in the future.

“It is also important that resistance exists in the community and must be resolved by the Government and related parties. If you look at the purchase of this land it is only one point, I fear there will be waste, such a large budget but only one point”, Trubus explained.

Trubus added that with such a large budget there should be more than one seat. There must be a principle of distribution in other places, so that there is a uniform distribution in flood management with the existence of open green spaces scattered throughout the Jakarta area.

“In this case, the provincial government has to review several issues related to land acquisition so that it does not become a problem in the future, and also involve public participation, such as NGOs, community leaders, so that everyone is involved. in participation and supervision, ”Trubus said.

Trubus also stressed that collaboration and coordination between relevant agencies, the provincial government, law enforcement and the community are the primary and most important for the program to function properly with rigorous supervision and periodic evaluation.
