ALICANTE. The Sala Nuria Espert of the Teatro Principal in Alicante has hosted a press conference this Thursday to present the national premiere of the play Bernarda Alba’s house, of Faraute Productions. The director has intervened Jose Carlos Plaza, the producer Celestino Aranda, the cast formed by Consuelo Trujillo, Rosario Pardo, Luisa Gavasa, Ana Fernández, Marina Salas, Zaira Montes, Ruth Gabriel, Y Montse Peidro, as well as the deputy director of the Teatro Principal, Maria Dolores Padilla.
“Our Principal Theater will be the protagonist this weekend of a first class theatrical event. It is a luxury to be the stage where this magnificent montage of Bernarda Alba’s house, by García Lorca, a work written shortly before his death ”, indicated Padilla. “This high-quality production has a cast made up of eight award-winning actresses, with a great career in theater, television and film; with the prestigious director José Carlos Plaza; and with the care and quality that Celestino Aranda prints on his productions. This national premiere is a privilege for all of us on World Theater Day ”, he added.
After directing more than a hundred plays and receiving the National Theater Award, the Mayte Awards and Fotogramas, José Carlos Plaza covers Bernarda Alba’s houseby Federico García Lorca. The absolute premiere of the work takes place this Saturday, March 27, at 7:00 p.m. In addition, there will be a second performance on Sunday, at 6 pm. This classic is growing day by day and offering us different facets to the rhythm of the changes in society.
