The price of Xiaomi’s flagship cellphone in Indonesia does not increase – Head of PR Xiaomi Indonesia, Stephanie Sicilia revealed that her party still has no plans to increase the price of a flagship class smartphone. Currently the price of some entry level phones Xiaomi In Indonesia, it has increased by around Rp. 100,000.

“Until now there is no plan for the flagship class. We continue to monitor the impact of changes in the price of this component before deciding on product pricing policies,” said Stephanie when confirmed by, Tuesday (12/10/2021).

Xiaomi itself has just announced the increase in the price of mobile phones for the entry-level and mid-range classes up to IDR 100,000. This increase is due to the scarcity of components that hit all over the world.

“According to our announcement on the Xiaomi Indonesia social media account, there are a number of smartphone models in the entry-level and mid-range classes that have experienced price increases, namely Redmi 9A, Redmi 9C, POCO M3 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 10 5G,” said Stephanie.

In the midst of the scarcity of mobile phone components, Xiaomi admits that other products such as smart TVs have actually experienced a decline in prices. Because the price of components for smart TVs has decreased.

“This allows us to announce a decrease in the price of various Smart TV products by Rp. 500,000,” he said.

When asked if there are other phones that have dropped the price, Stephanie still can’t say for sure. However, Xiaomi Indonesia has prepared another promotion that is still planned for its consumers.
