The exchange rates of the American dollar settled today, Saturday 8/2020, in exchange shops, according to the latest update of the Central Bank of Egypt and what it ended with the conclusion of Thursday’s transactions in Egyptian banks.
The price of the dollar was 15.72 pounds for purchase, and 15.82 pounds for sale in the Egyptian, Ahli, Cairo, Development and Housing banks.
While the price of the dollar in Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank increased significantly, it recorded 15.74 pounds for purchase and 15.84 pounds for sale.
Engineer Sherif Delaware, an economist, said that the dollar constitutes 65% of the cash reserves in various countries of the world.
During his meeting Friday evening with Mustafa Bakri, on the program “Facts and Secrets” broadcast on “Echo Al Balad” channel, Delawer added that the United States of America can print dollars without any inflation rates occurring as it exports dollars abroad.
Eng. Sharif Delawer pointed out that the dollar cares for all transactions in the countries of the world, and attempts and trade blocs did not help in replacing it.
The economist revealed that the federal budget for each federal state in the United States of America is self-contained and each state has a central bank.
