The price of petrol in the USA has reached its highest level ever. A gallon of petrol now costs an average of 5 dollars, equivalent to 13 Norwegian kroner for one liter of petrol.

In several places in the United States, however, the price is even higher. In California, the average price is $ 6.43 for a gallon of gasoline, according to the American Automobile Association (AAA).
