It is not yet clear what exactly Miloš Zeman wants to talk about. His spokesman Jiří Ovčáček did not describe the content of the speech on social networks, he only calculated where people can watch it everywhere. The time should not exceed ten minutes. For comparison – Prymul’s Tuesday performance lasted over 20 minutes.
It is basically a certainty that the president will deal with the current epidemiological situation, which is constantly deteriorating. However, it is not clear whether Zeman will not grind on other topics as well.
Minister of Health Roman Prymula addressed the epidemic extensively in Tuesday’s television appearance. During the speech, he apologized to the Czechs several times, at the same time explaining in detail the newly introduced measures – schools and restaurants were closed on Wednesday, drinking alcohol in public and gathering in more than six people is taboo.
The fact that Prymula did not speak to the Czechs alone attracted much attention – several men in veils standing behind him made a silent backdrop. Part of the audience has been confused since it was not clear who it was.
