On Monday night, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan signaled that he would not expel the ambassadors from 10 countries, including Norway, according to AFP and Al-Jazeera. The fate of the ten ambassadors was discussed at a government meeting in Ankara.
Earlier the same day, several of the embassies wrote on Twitter that they promise not to interfere in Turkey’s internal affairs. The other embassies reproduced the message.
