The President of Argentina Warns Against Destructive Collectivism at Davos

The head of state called what is happening in the Western world destructive collectivism, which has taken over the common sense of politicians

The President of Argentina, who took office a little over a month ago, shocked the “elite” gathered for an annual meeting in the Swiss village of Davos. He was invited by them to give a speech, but absolutely no one probably suspected what exactly he was going to say Javier Miley in her.

In front of the assembled and expectant audience of the organized by Klaus Schwab World Economic Forum (WEF) – an event that has for years been rumored to be dictating global politics behind the scenes, the Argentine head of state spoke on several important topics related to governance in the West.

We will not paraphrase his speech, although it was delivered in Spanish with simultaneous translation into English. Here she is:

Good day, thank you very much. I am here today to tell you that the Western world is in danger. It is in danger because those who are supposed to defend the values of the West are deliberately diverted from this goal by a vision of the world that will inevitably lead to socialism and, by extension, to poverty and misery.

Unfortunately, in recent decades, seemingly motivated by some well-intentioned people who want to help others and others motivated by the sheer desire to belong to the privileged caste, the leaders of the Western world have abandoned the freedom model and replaced it with something that should be called collectivism. I am here to tell you that the collectivism experiment can never be a solution to the problems that plague the citizens of the world. On the contrary – it is at the root of the problems.

Given the dismal failure of the collectivist model and the undeniable progress of the free world, socialists were forced to change their agenda. They abandoned class disorders and replaced them with social conflicts, which are equally harmful to the life of society and economic growth.

Their first battle was that of the absurd and unnatural clash between men and women. All that radical feminism has led to is much greater state intervention that impedes economic progress. Jobs have been created for bureaucrats who contribute nothing to the good of society and do nothing. A good example is the NGOs that are dedicated to promoting this new agenda.

Another conflict deliberately introduced by socialists is that of man versus nature. According to him, we humans are destroying the planet, and it must be protected at all costs. This opened the way for the advancement of destructive ideas such as “population control” or forcibly promoted bloody abortions.

Unfortunately, these harmful ideas have already taken root in our society. Neo-Marxists have succeeded in hijacking common culture and logic from the Western world through media acquisition, university indoctrination and cultural appropriation.

The case of Argentina is empirical evidence that no matter how rich you are, how many natural resources you have, how many and what skills your population has, how educated they are, how many gold bars you have… if measures are taken, that interfere with the free functioning of markets, freedom of competition, trading systems, attacking private property. The only result will be poverty and destitution.

Today, states do not need to control production to control every aspect of people’s lives. With tools like money printing, debt, subsidies, interest rates, price controls and regulators, etc. they already rule the people.

Quite a large part of the generally accepted political positions in Western societies are variants of collectivism. Whether they proclaim themselves Communists, Fascists, Nazis, Socialists, Social Democrats, National Socialists, Christian Democrats, or Christian Democrats. They are all neo-Keynesian, progressive, populist, nationalist or globalist at bottom. There is no big difference. Everyone says that the state should govern every aspect of an individual’s life. All of them defend a model that is the opposite of the one that brought humanity to its most impressive progress in history.

Today I am here to invite the rest of the countries of the Western world to return to the path of prosperity, economic freedom, limited state and unlimited respect for private property.

The misery caused by collectivism is no fantasy, but neither is it our inevitable fate. But it is a reality, as Argentinians well know. We lived in such times. We’ve been through this ever since we decided to abandon our freedom model that made us rich. We were caught in a maelstrom that made us poorer every day.

In closing, I want to address a message to the business people who are here and to those watching online. Do not succumb to the threats of either the political caste or the parasites who live on the back of the state. Do not surrender to the political class that only wants to stay in power and maintain its privileges.

You are the benefactors of society. You are the heroes. You are the creators of the most incredible period of prosperity that humanity has ever seen. Don’t let anyone tell you that your ambitions are immoral. If you make money, you do it because you offer a better product at a better price and help the welfare of society.

Do not surrender to the onslaught of the state. The state is not the solution. She is the problem itself. You are the protagonists of the story and know from here on that Argentina is your close and faithful ally.

A bit of an odd ending to an otherwise good speech. Interpret as you see fit.
