President Rumen Radev issued today decree for changes in the composition of the caretaker government according to the proposals of the caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev.

After a conversation with the acting prime minister, the president appointed Dimitar Glavchev as minister of foreign affairs, while simultaneously dismissing the previous one, Stefan Dimitrov.

On Tuesday last week, Dimitar Glavchev announced that he wanted to replace Kiril Vatev with Georgi Takhov. He cited the impossibility of securing funds for Ukrainian aid as the reason. Later, the prime minister explained that Kiril Vatev himself asked to resign from the post.

The president did not take Dimitar Glavchev’s proposal well, recalling the kind words he said about Kiril Vatev.

Meanwhile, agricultural organizations began to talk about protests, as the state aid in question was due to be paid “by April 22”, that is, as early as Friday, April 19.

These days it became clear that Georgi Takhov has promised that the funds for the Ukrainian aid, whose budget is over BGN 250 million, will be available after the Easter holidays.
