He Popular Party has described as “grotesque” the metal cover of the mechanical belt of the Gran Via because it breaks, he assures, with the aesthetics and what is worse with the history and memory of this artery of which this week marks the 75th anniversary of its inauguration, on August 24, 1945. The popular ones, who predict the rejection of the people of Vigo on this deck, trust that the Gran Vía will recover when Abel Caballero ceases to be mayor of the city but they have not clarified in any case if the withdrawal of the same will go in their electoral program.
