The population is suspicious – Esseha

The vaccination campaign is progressing fairly slowly in Russia, mainly because of the mistrust of the world’s first claimed anti-Covid vaccine, whose last phase of clinical trials has not been completed. This is the estimate reported by many Western media.

Some 800,000 people have been vaccinated with Sputnik-V, or 5.5 people per 1,000 inhabitants, data from the country of the Tsars indicate.

Vaccination began in Russia on December 4 with priority professions, notably medical, then was extended to most of the working population.

On the eve of New Year’s Eve, it opened to people over sixty. But Vladimir Putin, 68, has still not been seen getting stung.

Note that Russia has recorded 3.2 million people having caught the coronavirus. 190,000 people have died, making the country the fourth affected in the world.
