The patrols of the Madrid municipal police began early on Saturday by issuing warnings to respect personal distance on busy sidewalks of the capital – such as those in the Madrid Rio area – and ended the morning with large bottles, mostly young people. , in groups of between five and twelve people, at different points in the capital.
These exceptions to the majority compliance with the regulations that mark the state of alarm led to the intervention, between 22 hours on Saturday and 4.00 on Sunday, about thirty small bottles on the street, according to a spokesman for the Municipal Police. They did not offer details on whether in some cases there were neighborhood warnings or if they were outbreaks detected in the work of the agent patrols.
The people who participated were imposed two different sanction proposals (one for skipping the state of alarm and the other for alcohol consumption on public roads), which together are close to 1,000 euros, the spokesperson detailed.
At dusk, several groups of young people remained on the sides of the Plaza on May 2 in Malasaña, where the neighborhood festivities would have been held this weekend. Some formed small circles, respecting the distance between people, and consumed cans of beer until the Municipal Police arrived around 10:00 pm. The agents patrolled the square until 23:00 to avoid the concentration of people, Lucia Ramos reports.
Health allows you to go for a walk and do sports from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., separating the time bands by age. In the case of those over 14 years of age, the departures can be with one person (with whom live together) or with a caregiver and, as in the rest of the cases, it should be kept one to two meters apart from the people with whom they cross paths.
The actions, according to the balance of the municipal police, were carried out throughout the city: Fuencarral-El Pardo (2 large bottles), Hortaleza (2), Centro (2), Tetuán (2), Villaverde (5); Decks (1); Chamartín (1), Puente de Vallecas (2), Ciudad Lineal (2), San Blas-Canillejas (3), Arganzuela (2), Carabanchel (2), Moratalaz (1); Moncloa-Aravaca (1) and Usera (2).
This Saturday, the municipal police made 1,434 sanction proposals (Puente de Vallecas is the district with the most; followed by Carabanchel and Latina; and, thirdly, in Centro), two arrests and 51 vehicles that were not traveling were intercepted essential. On the occasion of the May bridge, a special operation has been carried out on the roads to control unnecessary movements.
