The police district will have a new 27-year homicide review

The 75-year-old man was found murdered in his own home in Larvik in 1995. Police gathered clues at the scene, but could not find the answer as to who killed him.

This was announced today by the police chief of Larvik, Tor Eriksen television 2 that the Sørøst police district wants a new review of the evidence. They believe that the Kripos Cold Cases group, which investigates cold cases, should carry out this review.

TV 2 writes that many of the seizures in the case were analyzed multiple times, without being able to obtain DNA that could have come from an author.

However, two discoveries yielded results. One is a trace of semen and the other is a find of an unknown person on Ramm’s fingernails. This latest discovery was made in 2015.
