Peru’s League 1 delayed the start of its 2022 season on Thursday, initially scheduled for January 21, due to the wave of covid-19 outbreaks suffered by several first division clubs.
The Professional Soccer League announced in a statement that the first day of the Apertura Tournament will be postponed in principle until February 3, almost two weeks after the initial schedule.
