The old man detained as the alleged author of the death of an 82-year-old man in the Santutxu neighborhood of Bilbao entered the Basauri prison last night by judicial order, sources from the Basque Department of Security have reported.
The event occurred around five in the afternoon on Wednesday in the middle of Santa Clara de Santutxu street, where, after having a discussion and a struggle on public roads with the victim, the author of the crime, 81 years old, stabbed him in the neck, so he died before he could be transferred to a hospital by health services.
Shortly after, the alleged perpetrator of the crime was arrested in the vicinity of the place, although the police officers did not find in his possession the white weapon with which the murder was committed.
