Facebook’s new interface, unveiled over a year ago, will become mandatory in a few weeks. Until now, users had the choice to backtrack.
According to the Engadget website, the new interface will be imposed on everyone during the month of September. Information that can be confirmed by clicking on the option “Switch to the classic version of Facebook”, In the upper right corner of the web version of the social network.
Facebook then asks users if they want to give an opinion on the interface: “The classic Facebook experience will disappear in September, but before Facebook.com’s new interface becomes the default experience, we’d like to know more about what improvements we can make. ”
If the new interface does not make people happy, it still brings some welcome novelties. In particular a dark mode and a visually clearer layout of elements, with larger columns and a flow that approximates the mobile experience.
