Despite these data, the national executive does not see fit to withdraw the declaration of emergency in the face of a possible fifth wave.
The report establishes that the national accumulated number of recovered patients up to this day amounts to 848,782. During this Sunday, La Paz leads the list with the highest number of people recovered with 312. Santa Cruz follows with 99, Chuquisaca with 53 and Cochabamba with 38. In the rest of the regions, 0 were registered in Tarija, 0 in Potosí, 0 in Oruro, 15 in Beni and 0 in Pando.
The new infections of this day are: Santa Cruz 14, Cochabamba 5, La Paz 56, Chuquisaca 2, Tarija 0, Potosí 2, Oruro 0, Beni 2 and Pando 9.
During this day, the death of people due to the virus was not recorded and the fatality rate so far remains at 0.6%.
Regarding the progress of vaccination, they have already been applied 13,195,558 doses against Covid-19. The Ministry highlights the scope of the vaccine in minors. yese applied 2,558,811 doses in total to children from 5 to 11 years old and adolescents from 12 to 17 years old throughout the country; while positive cases reach 62 infections.
