Through his successes with Roxette in particular, Per Gessle has earned many millions.
This has given him a special interest in the form of exclusive cars.
In recent years, he has had a McLaren Senna from 2009 and a Rolls-Royce Phantom from 2005 standing in the garage. But the great interest is in the legendary Italian car brand Ferrari.
At the beginning of 2020, he had eight different models and now the number can rise further. Per Gessle has in fact been offered by Ferrari to buy their new hypercar SP3 Daytona. Hallandsposten reports.
The SP3 Daytona will have Ferrari’s strongest engine ever and will only be produced in 599 copies. 499 of them are sold to collectors who have already bought SP3 Daytona’s predecessors Monza SP1 and SP2. According to Today’s PS Per Gessle is one of those who did it. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is another.
The car is designed to pay tribute to Ferrari’s triple victory in Dayton’s 24-hour race on February 6, 1967.

“He just drives them”
Per Gessle has historically not liked to comment on his enormous fortune, but has previously told Expressen that his success has enabled him to delegate tedious everyday chores.
– I have had so much success that I have not had to worry about things that ordinary mortals need to care about. Inspect the car and stuff, someone else does it for me, Per Gessle has said.
Nor does he like to talk about his car collection.
– Per never talks about his cars, he only drives them, the star’s manager Marie Dimberg has said.
But when the pop star was in Skavlan, he said that it is often people who take selfies or film his roaring laughter when he has been shopping. But it is almost exclusively men.
– I thought these cars were girl magnets. They are not at all, he said in the program.
