Apple unexpectedly increased the prices of many of its services, which are paid for in a subscription model. At the forefront, of course, is Apple TV+, which has increased in price by almost half.
Apple TV+, presented in September 2019, was one of the best-priced VOD services. Initially, you had to pay $4.99 (PLN 24.99 in Poland) for a month of access to the platform, and then $6.99 (PLN 34.99). Now the service will see another, really big price increase.

Apple TV+ has become more expensive. Huge price increase
American technological services report that Apple TV+ has just received a new price list. Instead of the current $6.99, you will have to pay as much as $9.99 to watch your favorite movies and series. This is an increase of three dollars or – what shows the scale of the increase – by almost half (43%).
At least in the United States, where the increases have already been introduced. The old price is still visible in Poland, but there is a good chance that it will change soon. It may also turn out that in Poland we will pay even more for Apple TV+ than the US price list indicates. Just calculate that the current USD 6.99 translated into PLN 34.99, not PLN 29.99 in Poland.
Apple TV+ is just the tip of the iceberg. There are more expensive services
Apple TV+, however, is just one of many Apple services that have just had their price list updated (of course, to a more unfavorable one). In the US, the price of the Apple Arcade package also increased from $4.99 to $6.99 per month, and the Apple News+ service, which is unavailable in Poland, increased from $9.99 to $12.99 per month. The changes take effect immediately, but the new, higher price for an existing subscription will be charged on your next payment.
Price increases are happening for iCloud-related services and – how noticed by Spider’s Web – the prices of these packages have also changed in Poland. Apple One is getting more expensive (iCloud+, TV+, Music and Arcade in one package), which will now cost PLN 39.99 for the individual option and PLN 49.99 for the family option. In both cases, we are talking about an increase of exactly PLN 5.
Interestingly, Apple last increased the iCloud+ packages in June this year. The Apple Arcade package purchased separately will also be more expensive in Poland. For access to the Apple game collection, you will have to pay as much as PLN 34.99 (instead of PLN 24.99 previously). Interestingly, overseas this service became more expensive, by two dollars (PLN 8.50).
