The death toll from the earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria in early February passed 50,000 on Friday, according to the latest figures.
The death toll in Turkey has risen to 44,218, while the death toll in neighboring Syria has reached at least 5,900.
In Turkey alone, almost 530,000 people have been evacuated from the disaster zone.
